[Plugin: Events Manager] Registration Deadline

I have two dates that are important, the registration deadline and the actual event date. Ideally I would like the user to be able to sort either by registration deadline or by date of the event. It appears to me that their is no field for the registration deadline and so no way to do this. What are other people doing in this regard?
