The plugin has started expiring posts randomly. It unpublished several posts today which were due to expire tomorrow. I have it sending an email and the time of the email does not correspond with the unpublished time.
Some posts get unpublished and then the expiry time is set to Never.
Some posts that were unpublished a long time ago, we are receiving unpublished email notifications for now.
I have rolled back to version 2.6.3 when the plugin was working correctly but there still seems to be a problem – I’m unsure at this stage if it relates to new posts.
The only change to the website I believe is the installation of WP Rocket – which I have since disabled.

    Hi @powerj9

We did not experience this issue and did not receive such a report recently. I’m afraid that this issue is related to third-party plugin.

Try disabling the recent installed plugin and if the issue persists, try disabling one by one of your plugins.

This problem relates to Yoast Duplicate Post.

To replicate, install Yoast Duplicate Post. Clone a post that has already expired (ie at 9am) and change to expire at a future time (ie 10am). The post will give you an email notification immediately saying that the post has expired, but it won’t have – and then at 10am it doesn’t expire as would expect it to.

    Thanks @powerj9.

That makes sense. We also run a plugin that is very similar to Yoast Duplicate Post: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/revisionary/. When copying a post, it’s common to lose extra settings. Plugins such as Yoast Duplicate Post need to build in extra support for other plugins.

Yoast Duplicate Post would need to build support for PublishPress Future.
