[Plugin: Facebook Page Publish] Custom Excerpt ability, request

    This facebook page publish is a very good plugin.

    One additional feature, I would really like, is to provide an extra option, beyond the ability to send the title only or the 55 word excerpt, but to have the ability to write a specific facebook excerpt as an override.

    If I am not clear, a good example of this implementation is WP to Twitter plug in, which allows on the post page to either have the default text, or a user written override ‘tweet’.

    Let me know if you need me to clarify further or give examples.

    With that feature, this plugin will simply be the best.

    Hi roibot,

    You want to be able to individually modify or replace the text/image/title that is send and published on facebook? That is a very good feature and the next one on my list to be implemented.

    However, I wont be able to publish the next update before october, so you might have to wait some time. Or you could contribute some code yourself :D.

    I don’t mind creating a bit of code. I have contributed to other plug-ins in the past. But October isn’t that far away, and I am on Holiday til the 3rd.
