[Plugin: Fast Secure Contact Form] Multiple select box?

    Wondering if there is a chance of adding in a multiple select box.

    I’ve been using this instead of cforms II (that just got way too clunky and does not play well with a lot of themes anymore) but the one feature I would love/need is the ability to create a multiple select box.

    You know the kind: all options of the select box are there and people can choose more than one. Think of any job search site that allows you to choose which type of job you are searching for, and you can choose more than one.

    Is about the only thing I can think of that I haven’t seen posted here to enhance the plug-in

    Feature is added
    Added new Select-multiple extra field type.

    The new code has been added to the current download even though it is
    still version 2.9.6

    Here is how you can use it today if you do not want to wait for version 2.9.7

    On the plugins admin page, find Fast Secure Contact Form and click “Deactivate”.
    When the plugin is deactivated, the forms and settings are still saved
    in the database. Do NOT click “Delete” or your forms will be deleted!

    Manual upgrade:
    Download the Fast Secure Contact Form zip file:
    http://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/si-contact-form.zip
    Unzip the file on your computer.
    Use a FTP program such as FileZilla to connect to your web server.
    Delete this folder from your server: /si-contact-form/ You can find it inside /wp-content/plugins/

    FTP File Transfer this folder: /si-contact-form/ from your downloaded
    files to the folder on your server: /wp-content/plugins/
    On the plugins admin page, find Fast Secure Contact Form and click
    “Activate”. The plugin will now be activated.
    Upgrade complete.

    yumiko, It is part of a new version that is not yet available unless you manually upgrade install like in my post above. Did you try that?

    Hi Mike,
    I happened to download the plugin yesterday and it has “select-multiple” in Field type. I just needed to click “Click here to see instructions for extra fields”. So I got it work. Thank you.

    Is it possible to line up the choices in one line? In case the choices are just A or B or Yes or No?

    Not with select-multiple. You can use radio, but if you want your user to be able to select more than one of the options use checkbox. The inline tag will make all the options in one horizontal row.

    Just updated to the latest version and the select-multiple works perfectly.

    Thank you very much for adding it and being so quick about it. Quite professional and appreciated.

    Going to mark this as resolved now.
