After the plugin installation and activation multisite became very slow and then unavailable. After trying to deactivate it by wp-cli I got a message:
“Error: Strange wp-config.php file: wp-settings.php is not loaded directly.”
I will not use this plugin.

Sorry to hear things haven’t gone well.

When activated the plugin just sits there waiting for more configuration through the settings pages.

can you expand on how far you got before it caused this slow down issue was it directly after you activated the plugin? or after you made changes to the settings selecting a primary site etc..?

also to understand your network can you give a little more info e.g. type of multisite install or how many users are there on the network and the sites that you wanted to use this for?

I activated the plugin and maybe even did not make changes in default settings.
Maybe the issue was caused by several complex plugins on my site. It is bilingual multisite under development with the single user 🙂 – me. It worked well and quickly so I forgot about compatibility.
Probably I have to create 3 sites instead of 1.
And then I’ll try your plugin again.

    Thanks for answer!
    Lucks!

OK yes do come back with any questions when you try again and yes you’ll need to create more than one site on the network to link together. I suggest that you try ‘User Upgrade Capability’ as the first plugin on new new site since all the roles and capabilities will be replaced by the parent site, you might aswell start with that happening with any new site.

May be your plugin not guilty. All my sites worked well and quickly for a year with different plugins and my manipulations till I installed Dokan Multivendor. And since that many strange things happens.

thanks for the update. I’m never one to say plugins are perfect, its always good to get feedback from other instances running when things seem to go amiss. So I’m happy to help, if you do end up using the plugin it will help others if you put a quick review together on how you are using it and how it helped.

    cheers for now.
