• Hi Chris,

I am currently using a connect button on my site which helps me register my users to wordpress.

I however need to add the FB id, added and is_publishing info to your plugin’s table in order for your plugin to work (assuming they are both using the same app and both have open graph action active in the auth box).

My question as this will require a bit of coding, do you have any intention of moving away from this DB structure? Or should I try another route to integrate? (No coding on your plugin, only the connect plugin I am working on)

    Best,

    Ron

    Hi Ron,

I’m assuming you’ve modified your database in such a way that makes the plugin incompatible with your site?

The answer for the users table is yes, we will carry on using local databases. The reason for this is that Facebook requires users to be able to turn publishing to facebook on/off, and this data needs to be stored on our end, and cannot be on their end.

If you use the premium version, then long term we are considering moving away from storing reads locally, but if so this will not be any time soon.

    Thanks

    Chris
