I seem to be having 2 problems with the featured post widget. I’m sure I am overlooking something really obvious, but…

    1. It displays multiple posts (I thought it would only display one)
    2. It does not use a thumbnail even though I have specified it to. I have tried entering a value for the width and leaving it blank.

Any thoughts/help would be much appreciated!! Thank you!

    Hello,

the widget only displays one post, if you give the ID of that specific post. Then there should be an alternate post-id given in the next line to avoid dubble content. If not wanting an alternate post, give the same id twice.

And about the thumbnail, I can only speculate. If you have an image and you have defined a post thumbnail, you either don’t click anything and the post thumbnail is shown, or you click the option to get the first image of the post (and then define the width of that).

I hope that was clear enough.
