[Plugin: FeedWordPress] Auto Syndication Error

    I am having issues with the auto Syndication, is not able to update from source, prompting the following error “WP HTTP Error: couldn’t connect to host”
    however if i click on the update button manually, is able to syndicate and update.
    Not sure is it because of proxy settings?
    Please advise! Thanks.
