[Plugin: FeedWordPress] Feeds are disappearing

    I installed FeedWordpress yesterday. The interface did not seem particularly intuitive, but after a brief struggle, I managed to get it up and running. YAY!

    One tip to the designer, I’d like to input ALL of the information about a Feed on one screen, rather than having to input and then save and then go to another screen and then save again. I loaded up about 16 feeds and it ran like a champ.

    The next day, “poof” the feeds disappeared?! The syndicated sites settings were empty. Oh well, I understood the thing better, so I inputted my syndication sources (all my own material) again. And once it again it ran beautifully.

    But then a few minutes ago all the syndication sources disappeared. I’m now looking at the pretty prominent beg-notices on the developers site and in the plugin itself and I’m wondering if this is a buggy plugin just to sell support?

    I don’t mind making a donation or even buying something that works, but I don’t much like it when it feels shady. Still, it might just be a heaping helping of user error. Hopefully it is user error and if so, please expect a prompt and appropriate token of appreciation.

    What version of feedwordpress are you using and what version of wordpress?

    I use feedwordpress pretty heavily (I currently syndicate over 800 sources) and it’s a solid plugin so maybe I can help you troubleshoot?

    Maybe I understand the donation links more because my husband is a programmer who does a lot of open source stuff in his spare time. These people have to eat, feed their families, and live like the rest of us. Not only do they support a plugin for free and in their spare time they also work a full time job. I always see the time spent doing any free project (monetary or not) is time spent away from family and friends. I hope this explains why there are donation links with any free wordpress plugin (not just feedwordpress).

    I want to help you as much as I can from my experience of feedwordpress so let me know some more info (asked above) and hopefully I can provide you some help.
