• No matter how many times I click the Update button in the editor after changing the settings, it reverts back to defaults. Images are set to link to “attachment page’ rather than ‘file’ and the link rel attribute doesn’t work, so there’s no thickbox integration, just links to the image in a separate page.

Am I doing something wrong? I’m wondering if this is something I can release to a client (things should be intuitive) unless it’s just broken?

I got it to work, I installed a lightbox script and added the ‘rel’ attribute. I’m still having trouble getting the gallery to do certain things though, such as Pagination (I don’t know where to find this setting, although the settings page shows it at 9 links, it doesn’t show a number of thumbnails per page) so I must be missing something. Also noticed that I can’t change the template, I tried deleting the gallery block from the editor and re-inserting the gallery with ‘simple’ template selected, then clicking the Update button for the page, but it still shows the previous template I had when I first added the gallery. Tried clearing the file gallery cache too. I don’t see a “save settings” button or something, so I just choose a template and add the gallery, am I missing a step?
