Plugin filter – non latin url

    It seems the plugin filters do not accept non-latin urls (Greek. even unicode encoded). Is there a way to fix this?

    I use sanitize_text_field to sanitize the text input and it seems that non-latin characters are not accepted by this function so they will be stripped.

    can you please fix the % character stripped from urls at plugin filters?
