• Chrome will NOT play multiple videos on a page. Neither Mac or PC’s Chrome will allow for starting and stopping properly. With AutoBuffer on it fails miserably with too many streams. Once I disabled that (which works way better), now it plays fairly well but I get random “html5: Video file not found” errors. I can refresh the page, and it may see one video, but then not another.

On these pages I often have 10+ videos on a page (because the playlist does not function as I would like), but I need a warning at the top to use any other browser than Chrome for the best experience. My personal interest is that apparently a large percent of my visitors use Chrome (according to Analytics).

Has anyone else notice this issue?

I can’t seem to replicate the issue. Can you see if this demo page works for you? http://demos.flowplayer.org/basics/multiple.html

After some testing, I’ve narrowed the bug down to the Flowplayer Plugin and the Configuration option of “Autoplay” using either Metadata or Auto. This needs to be set to None for all videos on the page, and then it behaves in Chrome as expected.

If either Metadata or Auto are selected, then videos will never let the page finish loading, and there is a fair chance that the Artwork will not be displayed for one or more videos, leaving a blank grey box with three white dots. There is also a chance that it will simply say that the video can not be found. Reloading the page will give similar results, but will choose different videos to complain about.

This was definitely a Mac Chrome issue, and I think PC Chrome did the same thing as well. But after going through a hundred videos and checking the settings for each (please add more options to the batch functionality), everything seems to be working as expected.

Interesting, I will try to look into this.

As to the batch editing I want to find a design or layout to handle all of the options so that it is easy to use.

Thanks. I am not sure how much you need to add in that Quick Edit box, but as I mentioned, I went through 100+ videos one by one, just to ensure that Autoplay was set to None. Pain in the a$$.
