Perhaps this plugin could be used to create user galleries aswell? I’m trying to create a plugin where every user/member can have one or more folders with images and then display their galleries on their profile page.
I haven’t tried this but perhaps the “Extract IPTC” could be expanded to also write image description and such using
function.iptcembed.php

the plugin superslider-show has this option of pulling image content from a folder. then displays it in a rotating slideshow, rather than gallery.
I agree. Truly amazing because this is how I store my images & pretty much every other gallery plugin I’ve come across requires you to upload them to the media gallery. It’s nice to see something different.
Glad you guys seem to like it. Hopefully when I get some time over the next week or so ill look at trying to get it to work with multiple folders, and do some initial work on extracting IPTC info
