plugin for organising small bits 0f data

hi there,
I’m looking desperately for a simple plugin where I can organise small bits of data on a page which are loaded instantly.
think of a vertical list of names on the left and a window with text/content on the right. you click on a name on the left and the corresponding content is loaded dynamically on the right side without loading a new page without loading a new page or iframes.
help is very much appreciated.
