Plugin for required privacy policy chceckbox

    Hi!
    In the European Union it is required that the customer, before making a transaction, click the check box that he has read the terms and conditions of the store and data processing. This must be two separate fields. While it is possible to add a check box to the store’s regulations, it is not possible to add another one for privacy policy.


    Are there any plug-ins that allow this?
    Currently I’m editing it with the code, but every time I update the theme I have to paste the code again.

    Hi @obsceneelement,

    I assume that you were referring to the WooCommerce plugin.

    Well, it is not something that relates to the theme you are using, either Astra or another. I would suggest you ask on the WooCommerce forum.

    Regarding the code you added to the theme that always gets rid of whenever you update the theme. Actually, it is expected. That’s why, on WordPress environment, adding the custom code to the child theme is always recommended. This doc will tell you more about child theme.
