Plugin for simple zoom

    I am looking for a plugin for adding a zoom to my images (thumbnails) on my site.
    I don’t want a zoom like a lens, magnifying when mouseover.
    No, I need a simple zoom : a simple sign on the picture (like a + or similar) and when you click on it, you received the full picture on a separate blank page.
    It is the simplest zoom.
    Could you give me some names of plugins (free), because I checked in the plugins list and I only found zoom with lenses on mouseover or very expensive plugins premium for my simple need or old plugins not tested with version 4.7.5.

    Maybe you can’t find it because you are searching for the wrong thing.

    The effect you are describing is called lightbox. When you click on an image and it opens in a modal window that floats above the content.

    For the + symbol you can just use CSS and Font-Awesome or Glyphicons to place the + over the image.

    Or you can get fancy and implement something like this:
