[Plugin: Front-end Editor] Can't edit 2011 theme blog name and description

I’m using the latest 2011 theme and the latest WP version and the latest plugin version but the plugin still doesn’t allow me to edit the title and description. I see the edit hover button but it disappears as i mouse over it. the content editing works ok.
