[Plugin: Front-end Editor] Saving overwrites custom field data?

    Been racking my brains for ages over this one. Couldn’t work out why some of my data for my posts kept going missing. The only thing I can think of is that every time I edit a post on the front end using this plugin it saves only data in WordPress’ default fields. eg post content, title etc

    But if you’ve added your own custom fields using a plugin such as Verve Meta Boxes it seems to wipe that data :S

    Extremely frustrating. Is there any way to make the plugin make changes to just the field you are editing? So when you edit the content, it only saves the changes to the content. Or am I loooking at it frmo the wrong angle?

    Have lost a quite a bit of work to this over the past few days.

    On the whole, awesome plugin though!

    Notice how the custom fields added with the native WP interface are not affected.

    The Verve Meta Boxes plugin should check is_admin() and DOING_AJAX before attempting to save its custom fields.

    Thanks for your reply scribu. Hopefully the Verve Meta Boxes plugin will be updated soon to fix this….
