Hi, I’m having the same problem too, strange thing is it was working previously, with the files being uploaded correctly and the full URL to the image in the confirmation email.
I am also having the same problem … were are the developers??
I’ve narrowed this down to what appears to be an internet explorer problem.
i tested my uploader using different browsers with the following results:
- google chrome (mac) – works
- safari (mac) – works
- IE7 (pc) – doesn’t work
- firefox (pc) – doesn’t work
Same here….I run Version 0.5.2 on one site, no problem. I have just set up a site for a client with Version 0.5.4.4 and it’s not working properly. The received email from a PC upload fails, the link doesn’t work. Mac seems OK. Client going nuts! Please help.
Hello, I apologize for not seeing this thread, the Forums don’t give plugin authors direct notifications of people having issues. I will do my best to get the issue ironed out soon.
Also DO NOT use an outdated version, regardless of upset clients. A number of releases ago a security vulnerability was patched and it would be a very bad idea to run any outdated version of this (or any) plugin.
Version 0.5.4.6 (released a few minutes ago) should resolve this issue. I can’t stress enough how important it is to keep your plugins updated, please do not use an outdated version of this plugin!
No the update does not work Jonathan .
OK on Mac, but not on PC.
… any way you could provide some more insight on that? Which part is broken? Which browsers? Did you try clearing your cache?
Just tested clearing the cache, no difference.
Which browser(s)? It’s working on Firefox for me.
That explains a lot — I don’t have extensive resources to devote time to IE so I might suggest researching an alternate solution in the short term if your client is aggravated. I can’t stress enough how important it is to use the most recent version of the plugin, though, even if an old version worked better. I’ll do my best to get an IE environment set up, but support will likely be limited to IE9+ when a fix is released.
