From your screenshot, it seems that you’re referring to the Analytics Stats bar displayed on the front end (logged-in users).

To hide it temporarily or remove it permanently, you can follow the steps in this link:

That is how WordPress handles the space allocated for the columns.

You can use the Screen Options to adjust the columns. Here’s a screencast:
