I couldn’t find what I was looking for in the 2 files. You have this jQeury string “https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.5.1/jquery.min.js” in one of your files, could be the footer.php. Change that line to this “https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.7/jquery.min.js”.
This was how I fixed my lightbox issue and it worked perfectly ever since.
The difference between the 2 is the “1.5.1” and “1.7”. 1.7 is the correct one.
Try that and let me know if it works for you.
I searched all of my php files and that string of code wasn’t in any of them. The template i’m using is a Genesis set up, so there are the genesis files, as well as the child template from the genesis files called Fabric. Which should I be looking in, the parent, or child files?
the files I gave you were the child files, so if you need the parent ones to check, I can give you those.

In your case, you should find this string and remove it – the each plugin or theme must use the jquery.js script of WordPress – it makes with help of calling the special WordPress function, but without help of third-party script.
