Hi There

I needed to add the excerpt of a post so I added the line

$current = str_replace('{excerpt}', get_the_excerpt(), $current);

to your get() function in class-get-post-getter.php

I like how easy this plugin is to extend. Good work!

This sounds like something I could use. where exactly does this go in class-get-post-getter.php?

Hi raineri71,

If you get the latest version of the file from github, it has this in it already. I’ve been a little slow to release the version with the change included. Apologies. There are two things I want to add first.

Thanks for the plugin man. I modified it a bit to fetch a few more post details ( thumnails, Yoast SEO fields, comment count). Works like a charm.
