Plugin going into loop after authenticating

    I’ve followed several guides I found online about setting up this plugin with ADFS, including one by the plugin’s author. I’m using ADFS 3.0 on Server 2012 R2 as my ldp. I’ve gotten to the point that I believe the user is being authenticated but it’s going into a loop when redirecting back to the WordPress site. This is an SP initiated login. When the user is redirected back to the WordPress site, they get stuck in a loop going back and forth between wp-login.php and wp-admin.php. I’ve posted an album with images of my settings and a Chrome network log showing the loop. I’ve tried everything I can think of to resolve this but nothing seems to help and the web server logs do not show any errors. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    After a long time troubleshooting this issue, I found that the issue was I had a test user set up with the same email address as the ADFS user I was trying to authenticate. Currently, this plugin doesn’t do any error checking to see if there was an issue when the wp_insert_user function is called so it doesn’t tell you there is an issue.
