    hi , nice plugin, it would be even better with other new features.

    first was already mentioned here:

    about adding a button in the WYSIWYG editor while writing a new post, where i simply add the link of the pdf, or even directly upload the ppt to the post.

    but the second is also important,
    it’s simply to add an hyperlinked icon (ex: small magnifier)that will open a new widow like the shadowbox http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/shadowbox-js/ or open in a new tab (so you can view more than 1) and there view the documents.
    why?
    1- adding more than 1 document in a single post will dramatically slow the page loading, and if i someone needed to view the last document (out of other 10) he will simply leave the page 🙁
    2- it will save big space in the post!! again adding more than 1 will force you to but a smaller viewers … and no one wants that.

    finally if you decided to add a button, i would love to have the choice between direct view of the document or click a link for it.
    also please… can you add search, email and print buttons 🙂

    Hi 9ale7,

    Adding what you request first (the editor button, or something similar) is my main priority for the next version. However, some of the other items you requested are unfortunately beyond my control.

    Buttons on the toolbar of the viewer itself are controlled by Google. This plugin embeds Google’s viewer service, and does not recreate its own. As such it has only the same features (and limitations) of Google’s version. I think this is what you’re referring to with your closing request for search/print etc.

    As for having an option for either a link, shadowbox, or direct embed, I will consider this. Since one can link directly to the file using the editor itself I’m not sure how handy this would be for most people, but iconizing or allowing a shadowbox or something similar might be useful.
