[Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] Changes in posts don't appear in Google

    I’m using the XML Sitemap Generator para WordPress 3.2.4 plugin.

    All material I post in my blog appears in Googlbe soon, but if I change something that has been alreday published, that something doesn´r show up in Google even if I use,
    1) The Google Site Map > Configuration > Create Sitemap manually,
    2) The Google Sitemaps Site Overview “Resubmit” button, or,
    3) The resource of pointing my browser to http://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/ping?sitemap=http://www.name.com/sitemap.xml

    Ehen I use any of those “solutions” they seem to work or at least I don’t receive any erro message, but the change material doesn’t show up in Google.

    Since due to the nature of my blog I must make a lot of changes in already published material, it’s quite important for me that these changes are taken by Google asap.

    What can I do to achieve that?

    Unfortunately, you can’t do anything. The sitemap only tells Google when posts have been published or edited. It’s up to Google to decide if it wants to re-index the edited posts.
