Click on XML Sitemap, go down to basic options. Is Write a normal XML file (your filename) checked?

please try the lastest version as it fixes a bug with WP 2.5 which resulted on time outs or memory errors. Let me know if that fixes your problem! 🙂

Ive written these two files manually in notepad++ and uploaded them then set perm. to 777 . and still get the probs . below
