[Plugin: Gravity Forms Custom Post Types] Date / Time field won't save time

I am using the Gravity Forms + Custom Post Types plugin in order to have users create custom post types (events) through a form. I am also using Advanced Custom Fields in order to make the custom time field using the Advanced Custom Fields: Date and Time Picker Plugin to have a time field.

The problem is – I have both the ACF and the Gravity Form Field set to the same format (hh:mm tt), but nothing is being saved to the event in the time field. When I check other events that have had the time field added through WordPress, the database entry for _time shows “field_55e88…etc” so I’m still unsure how the formatting of the data is being saved to the database.

Is there any solutions for having ACF: Date and Time Picker work with Gravity Forms + Custom Post Types in order to save the time in the proper time format?
