[Plugin: Gravity Forms Stripe Add-On] Invalid API key. Please try again.

    Having some trouble getting my Stripe API keys to take when entering them into my settings in GF. I’m using the clipboard cutter on the API codes page in my Stripe account to enter all 4 keys so I know I’m not entering them incorrectly. When I click ‘Save Settings’, the stop-sign comes up on all 4 keys instead of the green check. I have reset my keys multiple times, but this hasn’t helped. I have this same setup running on another site that I put into action around 2 wks ago with the same versions of GF and Stripe Add-On and it’s running smoothly. What’s going on here?

    Hi bmaberry, Stripe deprecated a function parameter used to check for valid API keys and didn’t notify customers because they keep deprecated functionality for older accounts and therefore don’t expect things to break. However, they are now aware that this policy doesn’t work in a plugin scenario and have pledged to notify me when the API changes.

    So if you’re using the plugin with a relatively new Stripe account, then the API key check will fail. It’s all fixed up in the latest version that hasn’t been released here yet (but will be soon). I have been sending out a few advance copies – email me if you’re interested.
