• Hi, I used your plugin for 3 weeks and it was all fine. Until yesterday my site completely went down. The server storage was full. We checked and saw that your plugin has created 2,5 million!!! entries in the database. I went to my hosting support and here is what they said:

We have analyzed it further as promised. The Cache Warmer plugin has cluttered your database. It has generated over 2.7 million entries. Failures should no longer occur if the plugin remains deactivated. We are already working on deleting the entries for you. However, this will probably take days so as not to overload the server and cause another outage. Accordingly, we are proceeding carefully and deleting in batches of 2,000. A batch takes about 2.5 hours to be deleted. A careful deletion would therefore take 140 days. We are currently looking into how we can speed up the process if necessary.

In any case, you should contact the plugin manufacturer. We have never experienced anything like this and it indicates a massive error in the plugin or the configuration of the plugin.
Just for comparison, an average WordPress database has around 500,000 entries. In your case, just two tables already account for 2.7 million entries.

The entries that have been made have been written to the wp_options table and starting with wp_cache_warmer_warm_up

Can you clarify what went wrong here?
