    Johan,

    I’m new to WordPress so may be making some newbe mistakes. Can you tell me how to get the title above the slider. I’m using theme 2011. Test site is: http://upfrontsimulation.com/WordPressTest/

    Yes of course. this is what i did:

    in style.css
    i added: z-index: 10;

    to
    #site-title {
    #site-title a {
    #site-description {
    #branding #searchform {

    There seem to be several #site-title IDs in the style sheet. I went ahead and changed them all but it makes no difference.

    The style sheet I am changing is the style.css in the /wp-content/themes/twentyeleven folder. Is that the correct location?

    After trying multiple things, I deleted the 2011 theme and reinstalled it. Things seem to be working now.
