[Plugin: HTML Import 2] HTML Markup Preserve Format

    It appears that HTML Import strips out the spaces and carriage returns if text is contained within <pre>
    Anyone know of a workaround for this that can accommodate a large number of pages?

    WordPress seems to respect the formatting within <pre></pre>

    Another user has proposed a solution over in this thread. I haven’t had a chance to incorporate that into the plugin yet, but if you’re comfortable editing your copy of it, this should work.
