Trying to import a significant number of users (several thousand), and it seems like the page is timing out…it processes for about 30 sec then goes to a blank page. If I look at users, about 30 are imported correctly, what can I do to keep it from timing out?

If the execution is timing out at 30 seconds, it means that the maximum execution time for PHP scripts on your server is 30 seconds. You should increase that and also increate the memory limit, and break down the CSV file in several small ones.
