Plugin Incompatibility with Stackable Blocks or Popup Maker

Thanks for trying Podcast player.

First of all, Thanks very much for reporting this issue. I have analyzed the issue in detail. Here are my findings,

The Problem

1. The plugins you mentioned above adds there own custom attributes to all the blocks (including podcast player). For example, Popup Maker plugin add an attribute called, Popup Controls to all blocks (Bottom of the right sidebar on edit screen while podcast player is selected).

2. Podcast player uses wordpress core’s ServerSideRender method to display a preview on the edit screen. This method does not accept any new attributes unless they are defined previously.

3. Therefore, podcast player can’t display a preview when new attributes are added by other plugins.

Solution

1. This error will only appear on the edit screen. Podcast player will display perfectly on the frontend. So you can temporarily disable the above plugins and create podcast player block. Once podcast player is created on the page, you can enable the plugins again. All will look good on the front end.

2. I will also try to add compatibility codes for these plugins in the next update of podcast player. Inform if you find this error with any other plugin (Unfortunately, there are no universal solution for this problem as of now. So we have resolve compatibility issue for each plugin).
