[Plugin: Infinite-Scroll] Items load below the footer

Hey,
I’m bulding my first theme, I used the starkers theme added pagniation with:
http://bavotasan.com/2011/simple-pagination-for-wordpress/

When using the infinite scroll plugin the content breaks into two parts, the one that was loaded all along and the newly loaded content with the footer between them.
