The plugin requires jQuery in order to work. If the user doesn’t already have jQuery in their theme or if its not reasonably up to date then it loads the latest version. Are you objecting to that behaviour or the fact that it uses Google’s CDN?

    two things:

the way it loads (not using WordPress standards; try enqueue_script)

google … sometimes wordpress runs on a company intranet with internet connection

Okies, thanks for the suggestions 🙂 They definitely make sense (in fact the entire jQuery loading part is a remnant of a very early version of the plugin) so I’ll work on getting this changed on the update coming this weekend.

Thanks again and just post on here or https://github.com/paulirish/infinite-scroll if you have any other suggestions, its really appreciated.

Just as an update, both changes you mentioned will be coming in the update being released tonight.
