[Plugin: Inline Google Docs] Not connecting to Google Docs

    I have installed this plugin, but am stopped at the first hurdle.

    Every time I try to connect to my google account, I get the following error.

    A HTTP error has occurred: Unable to Connect to ssl://www.google.com:443. Error #-1211711856: Unable to find the socket transport “ssl” – did you forget to enable it when you configured PHP?. Please contact the plugin author with error.log.php for assistance.

    This is a charity site that uses free-hosting. I am unable to change any php configuration. Can you please advise.
