[Plugin: IntenseDebate Comments] invalid email

Why does IntenseDebate discount an email format of [email protected] as an invalid one?

I use the + seperator quite often as a form of disposalable email address as well as segmenting incoming emails to my GMail account into folders. Typical use is registering on sites I’m unsure of i.e. do they reuse or sell email addresses etc.

Any idea if I can configure ID to allow this email syntax? Anyone?
