    Hello,

Plugin has many nice features and works well with several standard WooCommerce emails.

Have noticed that the plugin seems to conflict with “POS completed order”. The preview of that email shows this message:

“There was an error rendering the email preview. This doesn’t affect actual email delivery. Please contact the extension author for assistance.”

And there appears to be a critical error when sending an email receipt for Woo POS:

Critical Uncaught ArgumentCountError: Too few arguments to function WC_Email_Customer_POS_Completed_Order::replace_footer_placeholders(), 1 passed in /home/u198431898/domains/classes.lotuscentersc.org/public_html/noclasscards/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 324 and exactly 2 expected in /home/u198431898/domains/classes.lotuscentersc.org/public_html/noclasscards/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/emails/class-wc-email-customer-pos-completed-order.php:437″

When the plugin is disabled, preview is displayed correctly and email sent without errors.

Any ideas on how this might be corrected?

    Appreciate your help,

    Seamus

    Hey Seamus!

Glad you reached out to us about this.

I can confirm that the error message is showing when our plugin is active. I’m going to report this to our team.

While there is no fix or workaround yet, you can temporarily deactivate the plugin before previewing the POS completed order.

Let me know if you have any other concerns.

OK, glad you were able to confirm.

If the plugin is disabled, does this revert the changes made to other WooCommerce emails when they are sent?

    Hi there.

If the Kadence WooCommerce Email Designer is not active, the style settings from it will not be applied to the WooCommerce emails.

You can still leave it as active, just deactivate it when you are previewing or editing the POS email.

Let me know if you have any other concerns.

Unfortunately, the plug-in does not just affect the preview.

As mentioned in the initial comment above, when the plug-in is active, it prevents email receipts from being sent in Woo POS on a tablet. When the plug-in has been deactivated, email receipts can be sent successfully.

Obviously, this makes the plug-in unusable, requiring it to be deactivated in order to send a confirmation email from the Woo POS, hence my question if the changes made to emails using the plug-in remain in place when it is deactivated.

Hi @seamusberkeley Apologies for the dealy in getting back to you here!

I tried this plugin and you can see in my video here that the New Order and Refunded order emails were sent properly: https://share.zight.com/qGuGbA8D

Could you confirm which POS plugin you’re using in https://classes.lotuscentersc.org/? I want to replicate the issue with a setup as close as possible with yours.

If you have a set of steps for me to follow, that would be great.
