With the plugin active the slider has twice the number of pagination dots, causing confusion and interfering with the proper function of the slider. It cycles through the first set of dots, returning to the beginning without interacting with the second set. If one of the dots in the second set is clicked on the slider disappears from the page. The slider is included in the Clean Magazine Pro theme.

If this can’t be remedied I will have to replace the plugin. I don’t want to do this since it is replacing a former favorite which is no longer supported. Help!

    Hey @catwingz!

It sounds like both your theme and our plugin are including the Cycle2 javascript library. Since this is happening, the script runs twice on your theme’s slideshow and this has the effect of doubling the output of pager icons.

You can fix this by visiting our plugin’s Compatibility Options (I believe under Advanced Settings) and ticking the box labeled Disable Cycle2 Include. This should fix the issue. Depending on your setup, you may have to clear your website’s cache after making this change.

Alternatively, if your theme has a similar option you can address it from that end as well.

Let me know if that helps!

    Best,
    Richard

That worked perfectly. I really appreciate the explanation too. Thank you
