    Hi,

    I have used previously another plugin for combatting spam which was also no setup needed. But their authors started adding security features to the plugin which I didn’t need.

    So when I found WP Armour which is a non-bloated easy to use anti-spam plugin I decided to test it for 2 weeks. In those 2 weeks, I didn’t get a single comment and I get daily at least one comment from valid users. This means your plugin was blocking valid comments and spam comments.

    It seems the contact form was not affected by this as I was receiving all valid emails via contact forms and not a single spam (I use WPForms and captcha method too). But I wonder if any potential business leads were also blocked by WP Armour.

    As soon as I deactivated WP Armour and installed Akismet I started receiving valid comments.

    Is there any way to see comments WP Armour blocks or adjust its spam detection method?

    @amazinghulk ,

    In only 2 cases our plugin block the comments or submission. Either it is spam bots or javascript for your website is disabled. In today’s scenario its hard to believe that any human users will disable javascript while viewing the web.

    However, pingbacks comments can be blocked or if the users comments from other services except your website (Apps or APIs). Can you please make sure the comments you get in your website is from pingbacks ? If so we can investigate try fixes for this one.

    Regarding the submission, our Extended version (https://dineshkarki.com.np/buy-wp-armour-extended) can store all the attempts of submission.

    Hope we can resolve this together.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    I don’t use pingbacks. I don’t use other services. I use my Astra theme default comment option.

    @amazinghulk ,

    Can you please send me your site url from where i can comment it ? I will check and try to find the cause for it.

    Thanks
