Plugin is degrading. Support is a bot.

Spare yourself a lot of hard work and head aches and get another calendar.
Because this calendar is just a defunct moneygrab with sock puppets that push up their ratings in the plugin section of WP.

I bought this calendar about a year ago because it looked awesome.
Was a bit disappointed that the promised import functions with google calendar and anything ical and cvs didn’t work well. But somehow I got the import some of it.
Was a bit disappointed that none of the shortcodes could produce anything compact in design, but hey it was pretty.
Was a bit disappointed that the recurring events were kinda limited. But they worked mostly.
Was a bit disappointed that MECalendar disappeared from envato market and couldn’t get any normal updates anymore. But hey there was now a light version that worked good enough.

I am majorly disappointed that recurring events stopped working or got messed up…not cool.
Weird bugs appeared where with a certain layout the whole calendar would stop working.
And now I haven’t been able to update for months because new updates keep causing stack overflows where they shouldn’t happen!
Worse, none of the export functions work. They all produce empty files and exporting to google calendar now has stopped working completely.
I’m losing weeks of valuable time on repairing the damage that this calendar did.

And guess what their customer service does?
They give automated responses that of course the fault is with other plugins or the theme or that all my worries should be over if I just give them more money by buying their defunct scrap again!
Judging by the rest of both their support forums on wordpress and webnus this is what they tell all their customers.
