Regarding your note about the success message flashing too quickly before redirecting: we actually have a built-in feature designed specifically to fix this!
In the Redirect actions settings, look for the option called “How many seconds to delay”. By adding a short delay (e.g., 2 or 3 seconds) using this setting, it gives the native Contact Form 7 asynchronous event enough time to fully display the success message on the screen before the browser navigates away to the new page. https://docs.themeisle.com/redirection-for-contact-form-7/redirection-for-contact-form-7-documentation
