Plugin is interfering with WP cron functionality
-
I had this issue come up on several sites, but only noticed it when trying to setup scheduling backups with BackupBuddy. Their support sent me some details to pass on to you.
What appears to be happening is that IMPress plugin is ‘replacing’ schedule intervals instead of adding to the aggregate of schedules from other plugins.
Their exact quote was “The usual cause of this is due to interference from another plugin that is incorrectly coded and instead of adding a schedule interval or intervals to the aggregate list from all plugins instead replaces the list and so any schedule intervals already added by other plugins (such as BackupBuddy in this case) are lost.”
So, in its current state, if I use IMPress plugin, I can only schedule backups once daily, twice daily, once hourly or every 3 minutes. It is removing all my weekly/monthly options.
If I deactivate the IMPress plugin, the normal cron schedules return until I reactivate the plugin.
Any chance you can look into adjusting this setting on your plugin so I can properly schedule my backups?
Thanks!
