• Hi
for testing reasons i moved 3 images from “uploads” to “testfolder”.
Since it was suscessfull i removed them back into “uploads”.
The “testfolder” seems empty now when checking it via the plugin.

But when i check via FTP i still see all thumbnails from these 3 images in the “testfolder” while the original images are back in “uploads”

    This means:
    Upload –> subfolder: Thumbnails included
Subfolder –> Uploads: Tumbnails not included

    And it gets even worse:
    The thumbnails are double now.
Once in the subfolder AND in uploads

  • Hi Maren

Have a look at the screen above the images
There is a button that defines what you want to do copy/move
    Default it is on “copy”
So if you want to move images, you need to click that button first.

I believe the move/copy button is usually set to move when the plugin is first installed.

This issue came up last week for another user. While testing I did see one instance when not all the thumbnails were moved. But when I was attempting to debug this function on Monday, I was unable to reproduce this it. Note that the code first moves the original image to its new location, then if there are scaled images, it will move them, and then it gets a list of the images’ thumbnails and moves each one individually.

    Hi Alan,

If so then Maren can check this to make sure it is set to “move”
Maybe the procedure to move scaled images does not end properly. We had an issue with scaled images in the past. But that has been resolved.
