plugin is messing up URL slug/permalink

    I have been using subscribe2 for years, but just recently, it is causing issues with the URL slug used for permalinks.
    Instead of generating the URL slug from the title, I am getting a randomly generated number.
    I have identified subscrube2 as the cause by disabling all other plugins. The issue only occurs when subscribe 2 is enabled.

    That permalink field is not there unless subscribe2 is enabled.

    I cannot reproduce this locally using Subscribe2 and a default WordPress theme. You seem to be using a Divi theme, which is behind a paywall. Have you excluded the theme as the cause?

    If I disable divi it does not occur, so it must be a compatibility problem between DIVI and SUBSCRIBE2 as it only occurs with subscribe2 enabled.

    There is no code in Subscribe2 that will add that so I suspect something is being triggered in Divi if Subscribe2 is activated.

    Can you raise a support request with Divi – it’s difficult for us to review as we cannot see the Divi code.
