The images are cached, but not with a file extension. Therefore, the conversion to WebP or lazy load is not possible if the plugin just watch for file extension. This is currently intended for reasons of compatibility and will not be changed for the time being.

Also want to know active image caching triggered when someone visit that page right?
Once cached it will provide faster experience but website file size became super big?

They are cached after their first loading (if the box shows no screenshots, no screenshots are cached).
The images are the same as those used on the store pages. Only that they are stored on their own server. The WP appbox cache is only used to keep images even though apps have been deleted or use the proxy regarding GDPR – not for performance reasons.

also, one more question If image caching is different than what General caching settings offer I mean what data it caches?
That’s up to you, there isn’t any recommendation.

I found a Clear post cache in General caching settings so that means it only caches the app or it also caches post as well?
I do not want wpappbox to cache my posts because i use ezoic which already do that for me!
