    Hello guys.
I absolutely love Yoast and using it every day. But since I started my web site again, Yoast is acting weird.

It doesnt show proper information about status of both SEO and readability(bottom or right widget while writing post).

It sometimes says headers are not good, alt names of images are not filled, keyword isnt in title etc. But they are.

When I save post or publish and go back it will show correct information most of the times. But plugin act weird even when post is published. I go back to edit post and both dots are green, just press UPDATE POST and one of the dots goes orange. Need to go back again or reload the page for the second time to see both dots green and then UPDATE POST again, wait if there are still green and go back to dashboard.

Worked with this plugin for years but this is weird. Yoast was always instant and when u changed something in post it would immediatelly tell you.

What is wrong? Caching? Iam using WP Super Cache.

    Thanks for advices guys

  • @johnysko We’re sorry to hear you’re experiencing these issues with the plugin. Can you please confirm you are using the most recent Yoast v15.0 You can learn more about updating here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/

Also, can you confirm you are using WordPress 5.5.1? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider. Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast. This guide explains more: https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/

If you update to the most current version of WordPress and Yoast SEO, does this resolve the issue?

If you have already confirmed that both Yoast SEO and WordPress are up to date and the issue is still occurring, we would next recommend to try clearing the site’s cache. If you clear your cache (server, plugin/theme, browser, or CDN such as Cloudflare) does this resolve the issue?

If you are not sure how to clear your server cache you should speak with your host provider. We have information on how to clear your browser cache at the following link: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-clear-my-browsers-cache/.

Solved by using WP Fastest Cache now as I was used to this one before. Plugin is not that slow like it was before…
