I had been using the plugin on my website without any problems for a long time.

I changed the theme a few days ago.

Perhaps the plugin stopped working after that.

Maybe the problem arose for a different reason. I don’t know.

I also made an API change.

    But it still didn’t work.

After clicking the “optimize” button on any media file, it keeps running for hours. But no compression is happening.

What could be the source of the problem?

    Hi @aga2442,

    Marko from Imagify is here.

There are some factors that could cause the process to fail. The theme switching itself should not be the direct reason for this, and it would be good to do a basic troubleshooting and see what might go wrong.

To do this, please check this guide and let me know if you find anything helpful – https://imagify.io/documentation/optimization-is-stuck/

Feel free to let me know what you found.

    Best Regards

    @markonikolic thanks.

I found the issue I mentioned, and there’s no problem.

However, now I’m experiencing a different issue.

As I said before: I changed the theme.

But I didn’t change any settings in your plugin.

If any image was previously optimized as webp, it will appear that way on the site.

However, even if I optimize the new images I add and create them as webp, they don’t appear on the site.

In your plugin settings, under image sizes, there are a few options that come with the new theme that are active.

But I need to upload new images in many different sizes to my website. And not all of these sizes are available in this area.

Frankly, this is exactly what I want: I want all the new images I upload (regardless of size) to appear on the site in compressed WebP format.

How can I resolve this issue?
