    Hi Easy Watermark users!

    If:

    • the watermark is not applied on your images
    • watermark have the black background
    • opacity option is not working

    we are sorry it’s not working properly but we are aware of all these issues and there’s no need to create another support thread.

    This is why we are rewriting the plugin from the scratch and we are making it awesome!

    All the bugs will be fixed in the new release, so please hold on tight.

    @magicfilou it would be awesome to beta test it! I’m afraid it’s not in beta state now 🙁

    If you are really eager to test it at the current state, you can download and build the plugin from repository.

    Hi! 🙂

    I haven’t tested the new “beta” release yet .. but here some ideas 🙂

    Using the “Edit” photo function of WP Gallery to add (by drag & drop) a PNG watermark wherever on the photo then save

    OR – AND

    Add a label around the photo with imagemagick to put the watermark OUTSIDE the photo like “below” or “above” and then save to generate the new image/photo with the frame 🙂
    A metafield to text the content of the label

    Option to activate the labelling with bulk function (select various image and then add the label)

    Would be A MUST 🙂

    Hi Kuba,

    how long do you really estimate (not ‘hope’) it will still take for the new version to launch?
    As many here, it’s pretty critical for our project, and there’s nothing much else around (free or paid) that does what your plugin used to do. So we need V2! 😉

    HI @petrp, yeah, sorry to say but we got a big opportunity which will keep us busy the next two months 🙁 so any date I’ll provide would be a guess. We plan to come back to this plugin after we finish our current project, though.
