Yes, it affects only the post or page content at the moment. But I can add an option to affect the built in text widget and custom HTML widget. I see that it is also a one row table, which is not supported as well, but I have an idea and I will add an option for that too.
I will let you know soon when I it is done (could be a day or two).

Hi. It took a little more time, but there are many improvements :). Now it supports widgets and single-row tables. For your site you should use the layout that makes 3 equal columns, and you should disable styling for the single-row tables. Please let me know when you update and try it out.

I am marking this as resolved since now the plugin is working in the widget area. It seems that the author of this topic has lost interest though.
